The Huntington Library is a well-known library in the Greater Los Angeles area for being good at many things. For starters, it has a wonderful art museum showcasing lots of great decor and artwork. Then, it also boasts one of the most impressive botanical gardens in all of California. Finally, it is used as a research facility and active library for many people.
With a little bit of planning ahead, the Huntington Library experience is completely free. This is because Huntington Library has its own free parking, a rarity for Los Angeles, and gives out one free day of visiting every month. The free tickets go live on the last Thursday of the month and are valid for the first Thursday of the next month.
